I want a new driver before I kill myself. A new putter helped my putting, going with the same theory here.

Looking for 8.5 to 10.5 degrees
Stiff or X stiff shaft
Almost anything worth looking at.

Let me know what you have.

Cheers.

It's a strange game. My favourite driver is a Bridgy 460 J33R head (a swap with Ferrins for a putter) with a pulled NV 70 gm stiff that was lying around the proshop. At my age and swing speed this shouldn't work, but it does for me. Hit every fairway but one yesterday and birdied that. There is very little movement sideways in my ball flight with the driver unless I make a bad swing. The funny thing is when I am swinging it good all my thoughts are on what the feet are doing. If you have been playing golf for years, then your arms, wrist and trunk will be grooved and mechanical. For some reason the same principle doesn't apply to the feet yet most rarely give them a thought. The only time the average golfer gives them a thought is when playing from a slippery or unstable surface, and then they become a priority.

You must be extremely good at hitting the center of the driver, with a very square face and path to boot. Doesn't take much to get that J33 clunking and going sideways.

I don't think it is possible to get consistent contact unless the player has poise at the top of the backswing. Poise is being stable and in balance so the lower body leads into the downswing. This poise is a feature of the feet, it is not something to take for granted. I hate to see golfers head off in the wrong direction.:)

if I could gain consistency off the tee, and confidence is a direct byproduct, I reckon I would lose 4 strokes pretty quickly. Getting from tee to fairway with driver is easily my biggest drama. Not the club, gamer is TEE with Motore Tour shaft, just the suitability for my swing. changed to a G15 Draw, was finding the middle consistently, but shaft was wrong, way too high. too expensive to re-shaft, not worth it.

What are the latest draw biased or adjustable drivers for someone with swingspeed of 110?
