View Full Version : What is the history of this putter?

I have a California Del Mar that has been centre shafted. It is 34 inches long and has an orange Iomic grip. I got it as a part trade for 'The Whore' and I can't for the life of me remember who that was with...sorry.

What is the history of this putter? - Who made it? It does feel quite nice, am thinking of trying it out on the faster greens for the Champs.

Cheers.

I remember someone on here talking about this experiment (or one very like it) but can't remember who. It does sound like Perci

It was definitely Perci's!
I was at his place the day he put it up on the Forum.

Photos. She feels very nice, great balance. Had her sitting in one of my spares bags for ages and only thought about using her last night. Rolls beautifully.

You're right Lager.
He was also going to get a Squareback done but decided against it.
I swapped him my Cali Coronado for the Squareback.

Good try!!
Trouble is I onsold it before I eventually settled on a Kombi S (heavy) from Tomson and it is going nowhere.
Currently averaging around 28 putts per round.

How did you get the colour to match? was it re-plated?

Captain Nemo

I'd presume the honey dip was removed therefore its back to raw, no need to replate.
