Anyone in WA got some shocking golfing attire? You could score free tickets to the WA Open:

WAtoday.com.au is looking for the state's worst-dressed golfer and there is a cracking prize for your fashion pain - two season tickets to the ISPS HANDA Perth International at Lake Karrinyup from October 18 to 21.

The tickets are valued at $318 and provide access to watch both the pro-am on Wednesday October 17 and the tournament proper from October 18 to 21.

The tournament - Australia's richest at $2.5 million in prizemoney - is sure to be a cracker, with 2011 US Masters champion Charl Schwartzel and US Ryder Cup representative Jason Dufner joining WA's Brett Rumford and old favourite Craig Parry.

To enter, simply send a photo of yourself in your worst-dressed golf outfit, your phone number and an explanation of the look to features@watoday.com.au (%20features@watoday.com.au) by 5pm on Monday October 15. Consideration will be given to anyone who has actually sported the costume on a course and copped the requisite sledging from fellow golfers.

The WAtoday.com.au staff will judge the worst-dressed player and the "winner" will be notified on the night of Monday, October 15.

Here's the winner. Did anyone bother entering? It'd take a mighty fine effort to beat this custom-made golfing attire.

Rachael Woods shakes her head every time her husband Richard heads off to play golf - and small wonder.
Richard, who has won season tickets to the ISPS HANDA Perth International for his lack of fashion sense on the links, apparently sports a wide range of out-there looks on courses around Perth.
But the one sent to us by Rachael - illustrated in the photographs above - was all that was needed for us to decide that Richard was indeed WA's worst-dressed golfer (http://www.watoday.com.au/sport/win-a-season-pass-to-perth-international-at-lake-karrinyup-20121009-27ab4.html).
Apart from the questionable colour combination of his (custom-made) suit, Richard is also sporting a visor with built-in spiky hair.

According to Rachael, Richard's outfit created quite a stir at Hartfield Country Club on the weekend.
"Richard got plenty of looks and I even overheard one of the guys on the green say when he put his jacket on 'Oh no, we thought the pants were bad - but he has a jacket in the same material too'," Rachael recounted.

Whether Richard is brave enough to be so boldly-dressed at Lake Karrinyup later this week is a question that is yet to be answered.
Either way, we hope he enjoys his tickets and the work (and clothes) of some of the world's best golfers at the Perth International.
