Dcanto

Nice try. I do recall you saying that you weren't in a hurry to play this. I should be available on the 20th or 27th if either of those dates suit you.

haysey
8th October 2012, 02:16 PM
No hurry. Just keen to play while I'm back in b grade:mrgreen:

Get yourself a leave pass for one of those dates and we'll go from there.

Found that trophy yet?

haysey
11th October 2012, 10:47 AM
Ok. After some tense negotiations we've settled on the 27th for this to be played.

However we may need a mediator to decide where. Tommo, who's your guy again?

Julie
11th October 2012, 10:56 AM
I think you should play at Mossman and just play holes 14,15 & 16 six times. :)

I also think you should play Mike in the first round of this years matchplay. But we both know thats not going to happen either:mrgreen:

Is this how it works then?

Something like that but you have to change the stick to a golf club.

Found that trophy yet?

:-k

I think I remember sending some thing, some where, for some thing to be done by some one, some time...............

If I ever get invited back up there by CGC I could challenge the winner to be the true Q Champion.

Side bet? 8-)

Dcanto
17th October 2012, 09:58 AM
Haysey, had any thoughts about where you want to play this?

haysey
17th October 2012, 10:02 AM
Yep.

Dcanto
17th October 2012, 12:09 PM
Care to elaborate, or would you like me to guess? :)

Tomson
17th October 2012, 12:46 PM
Can I buy a vowel?

haysey

Care to elaborate, or would you like me to guess? :)

I'll tell you. But first I want the name of the douche who ****ed up your brand new office door.

Dcanto
17th October 2012, 03:00 PM
I'll tell you. But first I want the name of the douche who ****ed up your brand new office door. It was one of the plumbers hired by the Landlord to renovate the gents toilets. God only knows how long it will take them to finish. I wouldn't bet against being called back because they have stuffed the door up again.

haysey
17th October 2012, 03:55 PM
****ers.

Ok. Can you travel next weekend?

Dcanto
17th October 2012, 04:46 PM
Yes, I have put wifey on notice that next Saturday is going to be played out of town.

What did you have in mind (dare I ask)?

haysey
17th October 2012, 05:43 PM
Mystic sands.....at least we don't have to worry about courty playing.

Courty
17th October 2012, 05:45 PM

Dcanto
17th October 2012, 06:02 PM

I thought Courty would feel ill at ease regardless of where we end up playing, being without whatever club it was that he broke. The whole feng-shui of his bag would be out.

haysey
17th October 2012, 06:05 PM
I think the feng shui of his whole game is screwed at the moment.

So where do you really want to play?

Is that a knock back of the choices I PMed to you?

Dcanto
17th October 2012, 07:47 PM
Sorry Tim, only just read your PM. I am happy with either of those two suggestions. I have never played Millaa either. Who else will be joining us (no homo)?

haysey
17th October 2012, 07:54 PM
Righto. Lets go with milla milla.

No riff raff need apply I reckon.

solarman
18th October 2012, 11:59 AM
Don't know if it's worth the hassle of a 100 minute drive to watch 2 burglaring choppers battle it out.

It'll be like watching "Gorillas In The Mist" at Millaa Millaa that early in the morning.

Means nothing anyway as there will always be an asterisk besides this years winner.

Dcanto
18th October 2012, 02:01 PM
You are getting bitter in your old age Bob. :)

You guys crack me up.

I love playing Millaa Millaa. We're playing at a birthday party the night before. By the time we pack up and get home it'll be around 3 am. Asleep by 3.30, wake up at 5.30 to get to Millaa by 7ish.

OK I'm a definite pencil for this.

haysey
18th October 2012, 06:37 PM

Good stuff. Pirates finished last satdy night.

Courty

Why don't you just stay in Millaa, Mike? You can't tell me you can't fit across the back seat of your car. ;)

Most boringest thread ever.

Dave, you suck!

haysey
22nd October 2012, 06:54 PM
I'm gonna paint that dome of yours blue on Saturday.

Solarman wants to use you as a roll on deodorant.

Dcanto
22nd October 2012, 09:43 PM

FFS, good on ya Beavis and Butthead. Haysey, you don't have much more hair than I do and as for Bob, given his recent waxing photos on facebook I think we have found FNQ's answer to Yoss.

I'm just glad I am not going to be in the same car as you two on the drive up to Millaa. I can just picture it now - the two of you holding hands and singing show tunes all the way.

22nd October 2012, 10:04 PM
Dave, you're too nice mate. This thread needs some serious venom.

I want to see one of you banned by Friday.

I believe in the old saying of speaking softly and carrying a big stick. Besides, if I really wanted to piss haysey off all I would need to do is somehow accidentally on purpose let his missus know about the tracking app he installed on her Iphone.

I should... and blame it on solarman.

It's an automatic blame for Solarman.

Anyway he will be too busy crying about his new "cap" seeing as he and Haysey played Mareeba last Saturday.

I believe in the old saying of speaking softly and carrying a big stick.

Careful, wouldn't want you to give yourself a hernia. You know how lifting weights isn't your strong point. Mind you, Mrs Dcanto was telling me your "big stick" ain't anywhere near as big as you make it out to be.

Besides, if I really wanted to piss haysey off all I would need to do is somehow accidentally on purpose let his missus know about the tracking app he installed on her Iphone.

Ha. Like she'd believe that anyway. Especially from an ex saints homo boy.

Hope you're bringing your abacus. Hate to see you have to take your shoes off to keep track of the score when your down 6 and 5...

haysey
23rd October 2012, 05:55 AM
the two of you holding hands and singing show tunes all the way.

No show tunes. We spend our time discussing how it'll be accountants who are first against the wall when the revolution comes. Shortly followed by council employees, but you get the idea.

haysey
23rd October 2012, 05:55 AM
Haysey as well.

Did I win?

23rd October 2012, 05:58 AM

Having never played Millaa Millaa before I was curious about the layout and came across this website:
http://www.swingbyswing.com/courses/australia/queensland/millaa-millaa/millaa-millaa-golf-course/54907

However, I am not sure that the Men's scorecard is correct, because www.fnqgolf.com.au (http://www.fnqgolf.com.au) says that it is a Par 70.

Most boring matchplay thread ever. What did you expect from a thread where one of the participants is an accountant? Boring is my middle name. It's all part of my strategy for victory, haysey will get so bored he will fall asleep in the middle of his swing. Then solarman can draw c$%k and balls all over his face. :)

Two things concern me;
1- you've certainly thrown the anchor out since you kicked my arse at Atherton,
2 - whenever you've had a bad run I always play you into stellar form,
3 - (oops 3 things) you're only giving me two shots. wtf

What the hell, let's do it.

Well done Haysey.

Thanks mate. Forwarded your text to el bobbo. Can't put the response in here it'll get me banned.

Jarro, from Courty's Facebook photo, Mike has a beautiful fresh looking blue and white ensemble, except his shoes are the wrong colour for the outfit and totally a big fashion No No! I suspect Mike did this deliberately to upset Courty and put him off his game.:)

Thanks Julie :)

Haysey defeats Dcanto 4 and 3

Thanks for the round, Dave. Just wasn't your day today.
Yep, Dave had one of them days. Out of bounds by 3 inches was tough. If it was me I would have kicked it into play.
Good to hear Dave hurling a bit of abuse too. Damn shame about that horse though.

Oh yeah, the horse. I'm tempted to call the RSPCA.

Congratulations haysey, and thanks for the game. Despite being on the wrong side of the ledger it was fun and once I worked out where all the OOB was the second nine was more competitive. Thanks to Courty and mike for joining us. Definitely would like to have a hit at Millaa again. As for the horse, it was already lying down before I got on the tee. That's my story and I'm sticking too it. :)

Would have been a great day out there with you jokers and isn't Millaa Millaa a top little course, a real FNQ treasure.:)

Not for Di Diversi (Cairns member) she got her driver out and had a hole in one at the Millaa Millaa open.:)
