View Full Version : John Daly - close to getting his tour card back?

John Daly is No. 132 on the money list entering this week. He hasn't had full PGA Tour status since 2006. It'll be interesting to see how the Fall Series turns out for him ...

Unfortunately, an implosion will be the most likely outcome.

Followed by the Australian tour marketing department giving him 'an opportunity to ressurrect his career, in appreciation to the support he has shown our tour'.

$25.

She must have lowered her price. She was selling signed balls as well, for I think around $5 or $10. Wasn't really a good look, when all the other pros were doing it for free. My sons must have grabbed about 10 signed gloves off the pros on the 18th green. This may be slight amusing, but the most generous guy was Zig's mate, Scotty Laycock.

I hope he gets it and keeps it as that means he hasn't had any more mental breakdowns or relapses into alcoholism. Shame to see such any person fall so low.

I hope he misses it and the spot goes to someone similar to a Bowdo who is working hard to make it.

JD has had enough chances and we have all witnessed enough of his train wrecks. I like him, but he is a disgrace.

I've read his biography ... it's a great read. Easier to understand whats going on in his head after reading it.

No issue at all with him if he earns his card the right way.

I'm not sure Daly's playing has anything to do with someone who is playing on the Web.com Tour. If he is good enough he will make it, and if he isn't, he won't. Just like everyone else.

I wasn't using Bowdo specifically as an example. I was referring to someone that hasn't had 15 chances, exemptions, etc. I love watching JD, but am completely over the trains wrecks and watching him pack it in mid round.

It looks like it didn't take long for another to happen.

At least it was this weekend and not in a big important tournament.

He actually handled it very well. No blow ups or walk off, made a couple of birdies as well and finished the round with style. Even did an interview and signed autographs quietly happily.

You wore that bruise as a badge of honour... Stand tall Markus, if it was scouts they would've given you a badge.

he didnt actually hit the ball though, which pissed me off i wanted to see it get hit.
He put a empty 2 litre bottle behind my head, hit that instead.

Even that took skill, cos he was wearing ice skates.
