Looking at filling the gap between my 19* hybrid and 4 iron .. the number I'm looking for is 21 degrees, (roughly a 3 iron?) Just wanting to know the pros and/or cons for each, and recommendations brand wise.

I think it comes down to personal preference. I have a 20 degree hybrid and a 21 degree 3 iron and they both have their spots in the bag as they can produce totally different shots. If you can hit long irons well stick a 3 iron in the bag if you struggle get a hybrid as they are way eaiser to hit.

I prefer the fli hi's to most hybrids, but it is whatever suits your eye. I have nothing to sell you sorry.

I would be looking at 20 or 21 degrees as a 3 iron basically.
I have a 909h 19* that needs to go.

The only advantage i could see is that an iron would let you hit a lower, more boring type 'stinger' shot.
It'd be hard to do that with a hybrid i'd expect.

mmmm, they look horrible, the 650 look amazing! Very similar to a Titleist in shape

haha you mean the look of mp fli his?? I much preferred driving irons more workable. With the right shaft, the ball flies good...

I picked up an old titleist 503h at a second hand shop in Hervey Bay the other day to experiment with.
Looks ok, I had a hit at the range with it and it seems to go ok (at this stage).

I definitely find it easier to punch a fli hi. I just prefer the way it sets up, never felt as confident with any hybrid expect maybe the Adams A7's.
