Saturday night accommodation: Confirmed. Here. (http://www.takeabreak.com.au/Rye/BaysandPeninsulas/Beach-Holiday-Apartments.htm) Currently we have 17 people officially booked in for Saturday night accommodation. Please double check on the table in post#1 to make sure your accommodation and golf details are right. I am leaving it as booking the 4 apartments, as I think we'll end up with more than 18 people staying. If no-one else chooses to stay with us that night from this point it will be $77 a head. Every person who books for this night from now on decreases the price. If we hit the full 24, it will be $55 a head

For those that don't know, price of the round drops from $85 to $69 without cart but will probably cost you an extra $5 on the day for a pull cart. I'll try for a similar format for Southern on the Friday of Mexicans (Vics and Tassie) Vs the rest of the world. Need a few more Mexicans though at this stage as the interstaters are kicking our behinds for numbers. I'll look at numbers as we go and the Mexicans may include WAnkers to even up numbers or something along those lines.

Saturday and Sunday will be the traditional 2 stableford rounds for the champs, and Monday may be just a normal round with surprise 4Ball drawn partners at the end of the round or something along those lines. I'll let people know a little closer to the date.

Now that the True OzGolf National Champs are next on the agenda, are we going to play a funky format? Is it a Best 3 of 4 scores? An interstate challenge - Mexico v the United States of Australia?

I would rarely accept a Queenslander as my brother, but there are times I have to suck up my pride and do it. Is Shorn could do it in Perth, I could do it in Melbs....

I'm in for this - golf all 4 days, I'll have a crack at walking StAB so no cart for me on Saturday. The funds are working their way through the wires into Lefty's bank account.

Just gotta work out flights. Is there room in the car with Andy/Iain/whoever is picking them up on Friday morning? I can be at Tullamarine by 9:15am easily enough... otherwise I might fly in Thursday arvo. So I'll be a definite for Fri/Sat/Sun accommodation, it's just Thursday that is TBC.

That would be great, the more the merrier. Getting them to join OZgolf and introduce themselves would be the minimum prerequisite though. :-)

Just be mindful that we only have 24 sleeping spots available on Saturday night so IF another room is not available and a few more start to say yes to needing accommodation that night we may need to find swags, sleeping bags, blowup mattresses etc, for the additionals.
