Faldo's getting sold a bit short here imo. He was the best golfer in the world for quite some time and won more majors than anyone else on the planet over an 8 or so year stretch. He's also been involved in countless Ryder Cup victories many in which he played dominant roles. He was absolutely clinical for a few years.
