I think they are longer than the R11s but I find them harder to control.

I have all my trajectory software and all the launch monitor software that says one simple thing. Hit the bloody thing high and use a low spin ball to control the flight. The logic of it is simple - a ball that is hit high, doesn't go left or right as much as the lower ball... the downside is that in the old days, the balls spun too much so you lost so much distance. Nowadays the X balls from each OEM fix the last problem.

So after playing with the Trackman with Jono and found that a lower spin, ie: the tour head, would allow me to hit it further. And he was right. I hit it further. but a lot lower and a lot less accurate.

I changed over on the morning of the champs, and hit every fairway that day with it. In fact the only bad shot I hit with the 10.5 was on the 17th on the second day.

Cant really argue with that... I still prefer the tour head looks... but the non tour hits it way higher.
