Extender vs shaft... Thoughts please

Have got the opportunity to grab some PX5.5's for my CB2's.1" extenders have been fitted. I need the extra length, but is the extender giving me any less than the longer shaft would?Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't think there'd be a difference.

They usually throw the swingweight out by a couple of points (make it lighter). Apart from that nothing really.
