It is a parklands course so more like Mt Lolly.

There is probably more dramatic elevation change in places. I've always played it reasonably well but there are some nasty places to miss.

Yep. Bad lies, bad bounces and smallish greens make it harder than it otherwise would be. Have played it twice socially; would hate to play it if I was in a comp trying to shoot a good score.

5th green is elevated so the second has to be all carry from a slight downhill second shot - do able depending on the wind !

Played yesterday for 33 pts ( 81 ) after putting like a poofter with 5 - 3 stabbs

Greens are good with out being great - noticed a little winter weed in a few of them - firm but hold good shots
Course in about 85% condition - bunkers will always let us down - inconsistent and the par 3 tees need some repairing after a 72hole event on the weekend

Sunday weather fine and 20 - should be nice - just a pity i couldnt play and take all the dosh ! Enjoy

Thanks to my ashes and simmsy for some decent enough golf and a few laughs and lots of Ghey ghey ghey putts. I really appreciate having my old man out yesterday and he had a great time. Thanks for putting up with him walking on the occasional Line or moving whilst swinging. He is very much the social golfer, but understands etiquette, but just took a while to remind him a few times.

He was worried he was holding everyone up, but I told him to relax and he loved it. 15 holes is about his limit and probably should play off more than Ashes, but he hits a decent ball.

You're suggesting there was some respect for me prior to the round? I thought after the LD night everyone would have been glad to see me leave it in the bag!

It was just some rope-a-dope tactics on my behalf. Hit the 3 wood all day and lull your opponents into a false sense of security, then pull the driver out on the 2nd last hole and bam, 4 points. :)

The look on Simmsy's face when I pulled the 3 wood out again on the last hole was priceless, made it all worth it!
