Might be pushing it for some of the city slickers as I realise it's a bit of a hike but I'll be visiting the outlaws in Wang late Oct, early Nov. Quite sure I'll be able to get away for a hit so let me know if any of you guys might be interested in a road trip. Purely just an expression of interest at this point in time but pretty keen to play both courses.

Steve I will be on a golf trip in Mid October with a group and would have been great to have you join us for a hit at Yarrawonga, but I think the scheduling may be out by a week

I may actually be up that way that week, but I think I'll be in Echuca. Closer, but still too far away. Maybe meet half way for a game in Shep with Zigwah? :)

OK, looking to be available for a hit from Tuesday 30 Oct through until Friday 2nd Nov. Can anybody get away for a midweek game?

LL, were hoping to play 36 at either Coobram or Yarrawonga but maybe Shep is an option should there be no takers.

OK, holidays are confirmed. We will be in Wangaratta from Tuesday 30 Oct through until Saturday 3rd Nov.

Kev and Bruce, let me know if you are still interested and where you may like to play. If you wanted to make a day of it, there looks to be some good accommodation rates onsite.

I'll have to be back home on the evening of the 2nd (by the latest), but the rest of the dates are fine by me.

Will play anywhere.

I'm out - the lovely wife has decided that my annual leave that week would be better spent putting a lawn down in our back yard. #-o

Kev, possibly looking at the 2nd as the only option now as we've squeezed a night in Melbourne.

Let me know if it's still an option cause I'd imagine you'd need to stay the night before.

kev
26th October 2012, 12:55 PM
If it's Wangaratta, probably best to drive up the evening before :)

So yes still interested!

What would be the chances of playing the Lakes course as well? Trying to make the most of my time plus I'm a sucker for punishment :D

For an extra $16 bucks for all day access, I just think that's too good to pass up.

muldude
29th October 2012, 03:54 PM
The pro shop reckons it fairly quiet so it should not be a problem, I like the lake better but it's busy early so I had to go the Murray. I can only do 18 though, 36.......waaaaay too many holes for me.

You can sort it on the day, they are very easy going.

It's basically you're normal resort style course but in amazing condition. It has 9 holes in play atm. Not bad but not my type of track.

Make sure you look me up for a game and or a fish.

There won't be any fishing though. I'll be at the folks place in Albury, so the window will only be so large.

Greens are slick and firm plus the wind is picking up. Just on the 9th and only the two rockets.

muldude
2nd November 2012, 02:40 PM
Thanks boys for the game this morning.

Shavey's shank display was just a beautiful thing to watch. There is nothing better to watch a well executed hosel rocket in full flight
He must have hit every tree up 5 as well.

A honor to play with ozgolf royalty today, thanks again and please look me up if you come up again.

Absolutely spent after walking 36 today with the carrybag. The last six or so holes were killers with the weary legs.

Can't wait to play there again when I'm hitting them straight and I've learnt how to putt on those slippery greens.

Thanks again for a most enjoyable day out. Deano, I'll get back to you on the course comparisons when I've regained consciousness :o
