I have this exact same putter (but in a black oxide finish). What makes it a prototype?

All good, still a nice stick.
I had one, but i too didnt like the weight as they only came in 35", so was too light when i cut it down.....
For those that havnt rolled a beached putter (be it S.C or Ping), they have great feeling and sound!

Yes that would be ideal, at least I can adjust to make heavier if required, I just find that mine if too light.

I would also consider swapping for a mallet style putter like a Kombi which would give me a bit more weight in the head of the putter
