Just wondering if there such a thing as Project X Wedge Shafts and if they do, has anyone used them?

I have one in my gap wedge. I have just sourced a replacement wedge with a normal wedge flex shaft to replace it with... Found it was a little anti-spin, and somewhat inconsistent in distance, flight and control for my liking.

@rqrox how did you go??
@popper81 what was the flex on your Wedge PX and did it match the rest of your set?

Yeah mate, all matched... 5.5 running the whole way through.

I have thought about this abit today, and actually took both wedges out for a bash this arvo (have a handy chipping green about 10m away ;) ) and for ME the wedge flex wins hands down. The 5.5 is maybe a little longer, but struggled to hit the little 3/4 spinny wedge... side by side, on a still arvo, and i could really notice the difference. Both vokey red saw 50* in about the same condition...

It has reaffirmed that i made the right decision for me. Try it though, you may love them :)

@popper81, thanks for your feedback. I actually have a Vokey 50 with a standard DG wedge shaft and AP2 W Wedge (which 51 I think) with KBS shaft in it. I'm tempted to play around with the shafts but I'm not sure.

mrbluu,
Seemed pretty good. Stopped nicely when I played that shot handled a bump and run well.
I didn't really get a chance to check the distance on a full swing nor the spin on the same but like I said felt pretty good.

Let me know if you want to get rid of PX wedge shaft.

you interested in a trade for a 909H 17* with a epic shaft?

I got Virge to order me some PX Spinners in for my CG15's, was half way to his house when he emailed me and said they sent him DG Spinners instead. I really hate the standard shafts so him to put in the DG's. Really like the feel of them and I do spin them more, but not sure if that is because of the new (better) mechanics or new clubs or ball. I any case the feel very stable and good on both full and knock down shots.
