Hi all,

Have been doing a bit of reading up re getting bats fitted for shafts. Just trying to work out if it's worth it for me and opinions on those that have had it done, Now I have mizuno mx 19's. Good deal from 3balls so don't know what the cost would be to re shaft ! Std shaft which is R300. I have a fairly quick swing, I assume. Whats the average price to get say per iron done or is it a case of depends on the shaft. Is there a fitter in melbourne that would be good to go see and have a chat with rather then a place that will stick whatever is the highest price is.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks !!

I would demo different irons and find what works best, once you have an idea of your swingspeed, as a starting point.

If I was going to change shafts, I would most likely just buy new sticks with the correct shaft as opposed to paying to get the entire set done.

Get the right heads first.... not more important, just the head design has more effect on your ball flight than the shafts.

heads first - then tune with shafts
