I will be Las Vegas in October. During the week I am there the Justin Timberlake Shriners Open is on.

Has anyone been to US tour event?

Besides watching golf what goes on?

Do they have a tented village/equipment expo?

Is the merchandise cheap?

Please share your stories, thanks.

Perhaps you should pm Bowdo, that would be a good start!

I have done volunteer work at US Opens. Not much different to being at Aust PGA at Coolum, except for the spectator stands, merchandise and sponsor/member facilities. Our spectators are more golf savvy IMO, than those in US.

You have to shout stuff like "Mashed Potatoes" and "5-Hour Energy" when the players hit their drives

I have been to the USPGA and US Open. Not really much there, except the merchandise tents are huge. Everything was expensive. I bought hats and shirts at both events. The food on-course at the PGA at Atlanta Athletic club in Georgia was unbelievably good. The turkey burgers were the best.

Also everyone in Georgia was smoking a cigar. So I did that as well. Was really cool.
