1969 U.S. Masters Champion George Archer passed away on Sunday at Incline Village, Nevada. The 6'5 1/2" tall Archer won 12 times on the PGA Tour and 19 times on the Champions Tour in a career spanning 40 years. He last played The Masters in 1992 and played 999 tournaments on the regular PGA and Champions Tour.
