He'd been leading with about 77% for a long time now. When you do a search for a player on the pgatour site he's not listed. Maybe they've decided that only tour members can lead a category. That's all I can think of.

In fact, it took a bit of looking but I found a tournament that he played in and looked up his results and also his year stats so far. Apart fromhis top 10 finish stat and world golf ranking all his stats no longer have any ranking within the pga tour. I can only assume that it is because he is not a tour member thus no longer able to be included within these categories. Or maybe they don't like an aussie leading a stat when they can help it. His driving percentage is 77.7%, which would be leading.

he's not a full time tour member right??? well...that would say it all...

does it matter??? is there a prize at the end of the year for leading a category???

Of couse it matters, would nearly add another zero on to your contract wouldn't it?

US PGA Tour 2005 straighest hitter using an PING Si3 driver

It's just odd because for most of the year so far he has been shown as leading that stat on the pgatour.com website, and now he's no where to be seen. It seems odd to have included him in the first place.

Are you sure that Nick hasn't been put into some sort of Witness Protection Program and been (in Arnie voice) erased?

Just watched a replay of the final day of the Valero Texas Open and, guess who's name was atop the fairway stats when they came up on the screen. Yes Nick O'Hern at 77.7%. :?
