I really, really WANT to like the Mizunos. Tried the MP32's with Nippon shafts the other night (thanks to TS). Just not right for me. Hopefully the MP60's will work better.

It was a good practice session for me. Seeing a video of your own swing is like getting a flu shot. You don't think you need it and you hate doing it, but it's good for ya. :wink: Found out today that I've got mother of all over the top moves. :shock: Take the club back really flat then BAM. Over the top. Uuugggghhh-leeee!

Got a good tip from Trungy that might fix it. Felt pretty good at the range, but we'll see whether it works on the course.

Highlight of the evening by far was the MP60's. Man that 8 iron was SWEET. More forgiving that the 32's but the ones off the sweetspot felt ... well ... sweet. :roll: :lol:

If anyone is considering the MP32's but is worried about the lack of forgiveness, give the MP60's a go. 8)

Well apart from my moment with the video camera the night went well. I had a hit with the MP-60's -NICE :lol:

Then I settled into a pretty good range session ,I thought anyway. The slice was not as bad as normal and I was hitting my mid irons fairly sweetly. My video is ugly, my swing is worse than s h i t. You will all see in the videos I will post soon. I need to do some work. Jono & Trung's swings were pretty good as you will see also.

Another Great session with myself, Pinglancher & son, Amanda, Marcel & Trung turning up. Trung handed out our Taylor Made hats for those of us who had ordered them. I took the camera but no video was shot tonight and yes there was tape in the camera.
Trung was trying to show Amanda his new low drive most of the night, only to hit a high one every time she was looking. :roll:
I hit 2 buckets of balls while I was there and on the way home realised I had hit about 300 balls :shock: I started off badly but by the end I was hitting fairly consistent straightish shots with the occassional straight one witha hint of draw 8) . These range sessions are working :)

Well the session must have helped me. I came second in my QANTAS Engineering Golf Club day this morning with 39 points. Had a slow start but really got my rythym on the back nine. I shot 42 off the stick +7 (5.5 under my handicap)

BTW, does changing the weight position on the R5 TP affect the ball flight? With only two weight ports available, I can't imagine it can make you draw or fade the ball. Perhaps for altering swingweight only?
