R11 4 wood head 17*

I have a nunchuk to go in it, so only need the head.

Nunchuk arrived from Virge today and I glued a tip on it. So just need a R11 4 wood now. Tour issue would be good too.

Ping everything except the fairway. Tried a I15 and it went left (as well as about 15 other 3 woods). I like the ability to adjust the face on the fairway, so I crank it way open and this drops the loft to 15.5 or so. I have a R9 4 wood at the moment with a Fubuki 73x5ct. Its good, but I thought I would try a R11 with a nunchuk, and sell what loses the battle.

I've never used an adjustable wood before, but I thought if you open the face wouldn't that increase the loft??

Search for it on here Mr B. Everyone has a theory. That is mine. If I open it right up, I hit a slight draw. Perfect for me.

No... I used to think that way as well.

If u open the face, it will decrease loft, as to bring the club face back to square, you close the face up more from address, there by de-lofting the club.
eg. A 15* 3 wood, is still a 15* wood whether it's open or closed. However if u open the face up re:Taylormade style, by the time u bring the club back to square, u have delofted it to 14*, or 13*. Same works vice versa.

Got a tour issue three wood head off him the other day and it only took 4 days to get to Australia. Head has come perfect, definitely worth it.

This is correct. For every 0.75* the club face is open, you lose 1* of effective loft. So if you open the face up by 1.5*, a 15* head effectively becomes 13*
