Good to see Duval make his first cut in 19 tournaments! Would love to see him ignite the flame again 8) He will always be one of my favorites.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Dean Wilson shot an 8-under 62 on Friday to take the lead at the Texas Open and David Duval made his first 36-hole cut this year.

Wilson, best known for playing with Annika Sorenstam at the 2003 Colonial, had a 12-under 128 total after two rounds at the LaCantera Golf Club, one stroke in front of Jeff Maggert (66) and John Senden and nine in front of Duval, the world's former No. 1 player who had missed 18 straight cuts and broken par just once this year before shooting a 1-under 69 on Thursday.

let's hope it can inspire him to greater things.

Golf will be better off with Duval playing well again

He didn't play too well to finish....but at least he was there. Justed finished watching the 2000 Open that Tiger dominated...Duval was only 3 behind with a putt to take it to 2 behind with 8 holes to play, pity the Road hole ate him up :( His swing while unorthodox was jsut fantastic to watch!! And I love those shades 8)
