Recently picked up the new cally Razr fit in a swap with my grandad. He brought it before trying it out (he liked the look of it), and found on the range that it did SFA for him.

Anyways - Im currently looking for a new shaft for it. Its currently got the stock standard Aldila something or other (I can't remember what its called), but IMO, its a noodle (especially when its weighted to play at D6).

What I'm looking for is a tip stiff X-Flex around the 2.5 torque mark (Yes - I know its low.....). I was considering the Throttle, but having hit a throttle in an R11 - i'll give it a miss. Just didn't feel right. Currently Playing the Proforce V2 in x - which is around the 2 - 2.5 torque mark as well.

So - using the collective knowledge of Ozgolf: what else should I be looking at or considering?

side note for SMS, JC and Yoss (or anyone else): Keep the posts on topic. I'm not in the mood for ur usual BS.

RIP Alpha 70, Whiteboard 63 or 73...just to name a couple off the top of my head.

Honest answer, lessons.

forgive me, but I'm struggling to understand how lessons will help slow my SS down by around 30mp/h

With a decent swing, you can hit anything.

What is wrong with the v2?

nothings wrong with the V2, its just that it currently has an r11 tip on it, and i don't want to use the same thing twice.... Want to try something different.

Rubes,

I have a BlueBoard 73x (pull) that might just do the trick... a V2 77g X flex (also a pull)...and a tipped TourAD DI6 X!!!

The DI6 is just WAY too stiff for me with the tipping, but might just be the ticket for you.

A pulled shaft could be the way to go.

I have a callaway razr hawk with the blueboard 63 stiff. Its a great combo. I would consider it.

Tourfit - I am looking for a driver shaft at the moment and any of those three could just about be ideal.

Can you PM me details for each shaft please?
