Jarro. Make the groups simple.
1-4 is first group, 5-8 is second, 9-12 third so on...
That way there's less stuffing around.

At the end of the day the draws are never really random anyway. Good luck jarro you shouldn't have to buy a.beer all day.

Maybe get Shaz to assist.

You can have your hot corfee and bagel in the car when you drive up with Blakey

So whos getting the ass from your group when we all move down one spot.

Running with the list is easiest for you considering you didnt want to do it anyway so is your call.

PeteyD
7th May 2012, 02:10 PM
That gives me an idea for the champs groupings, if I don't go with a semi random draw ...

Ferrins
7th May 2012, 02:25 PM
I would do two draws out of a hat for the champs and pick one of the two.

PeteyD
7th May 2012, 02:43 PM
anything involving you and picking I would try to avoid.

AndyP
7th May 2012, 04:13 PM

Had flights for Wynnum Cup. $278 return. NK made it rain. Wynnum Cup postponed. Jarro says "Nudgee Plate is a good 'un mike". Rang Nudgee GC to ask for dates. "June 17" she says. I say "thanks" and reschedule flights. $60. Jarro starts Nudgee Plate thread. "May 20 guys". ffs. Reschedule flights again, $60 plus another $15 because of the price difference. I'm going to Briz, cool. Circumstances change and realise this is not a good weekend to be 3000km away. Pull out of Nudgee Plate. Get hammered by dc. Realise at work this arv I forgot to cancel/reschedule flights. Rang Virgin. Got a credit for $259 but it cost me $80 to get a $259 credit. I'm like wtf.

Thanks for organising the game Jarro. Good fun as usual.

Some spastic was hiting the ball for me on the first nine but fortunately went away on the 2nd nine (or maybe that was just me and then someone decent stepped in on the 2nd nine). Whatever ugly scoring that had been well on track for a bat raise but turned it into a nett 75.

Thanks to Jarro for organising the day, 'twas excellent. Thanks also to Jaybam, Jarro and 990Bluva for the company. it was a thoroughly enjoyable round, even if the golf was mostly shite.

Commiserations to Brett, who fell victim to the infamous Cottonwoods on the first hole (10th). 2 lost balls doesn't get you off to a great start. You could have had a very competitive score otherwise.

Thanks for organising the day.... Haven't played Nudgee in over 10 years, the course was in good knick considering how often it has been under water of late. Hopefully it won't be that long between drinks for my next round.

So scores were;

PeteyD 41/46 = 87
Popper81 36/39 = 75

If the 2nd nine played is used PeteyD has it by 1 shot. However, if we use the standard countback on the back nine i.e. holes 10 to 18, then I think Popper has Petey by 1 shot.

back 9 PD 46/37, Pop 39/37.

Doesn't a countback normally go last 9 holes, then last 6 holes, then last 3 holes? Something like that.

popper81
20th May 2012, 09:03 PM
By index - Front 9 PD - 41/32, Pop 36/32
back 9 PD 46/37, Pop 39/37.

Hahaha.. Really!!!

Front Nine
4 5 3 4 4 5 4 4 3 36

back
4 3 5 5 4 5 4 4 5 39

Guess we go last six, back nine. Not my best 6 holes. 27/25

PeteyD
20th May 2012, 09:17 PM
31/25 ...

Or if we go with the last 6 played ... 28/22 to pop 24/22

15/12 for last 3 on back 9, 14/11 on our second nine.
Pop - 13/11 or 11/10

So pop wins it on the last 3 cb whichever 9 we use.
