Make sure you book for three.
Eat and then leave it to the third to pay.

Disclaimer: I am not Yoss!

Eldrick,

Great question. The problem of restaurant bill paying etiquette is one that has plagued mankind for centuries.

If you are going with a particularly wealthy host or a partners parents assume they are getting the bill. It can cause embarrassment to offer so don't bother.

If going with acquaintances then the bill should be split on the basis of what you ordered with the person that has done the greatest amount of organising to keep any left over coin or throw it in as a tip.

With friends it is often easier to just split the bill evenly as it all works out in the end, however if one friend is notorious for buying expensive meals to try and make a profit then they should be pilloried until the error of their ways is apparent to them. Either that or you should go for a jog with them late at night.

Hope this helps.

Yoss.

Yoss,

1. How many infraction points do you have?

2. Why do you prefer the term "full banana" instead of the more traditional "anteater"?

3. Do you have to be ghey to use the term ghey without offending the gheys?

Thanks, Jack.

Yossarian
27th April 2012, 03:57 PM
Hi Jack and thanks for the questions,

1. 0 currently although that could be subject to change at any moment. I live in hope/fear.

2. I am not entirely sure, I used it once as an off the cuff remark and it seemed to cause some mild amusement. I yearn for attention and it seemed to deliver.

Anteater is a perfectly valid term as well IMHO.

3. It is a tricky one, I'm not sure you have to be a homosexual but I think you have to be a noted friend of the homosexual movement. Which is an odd term and conjures up certain images best not discussed on this forum.

Cheers

Yoss

Probably Rubin, the amount of information he throws around about golf gear, swings and the like, especially in the early stages was up there.

His talk about six months ago was single figures, it is now high teens.

I haven't seen him play in ages so can't comment on real life.

Bergsey also has far too much handicap.

How long will I remain chained. I think while Mega was an excellent choice it is clear who the spiritual leader is. Sort of like Sam Mitchell and Luke Hodge at Hawthorn.

However I don't believe there are any plans for my ascension, a coup d'état could be regrettably necessary.

Sorry that would answer one of my secret questions for logging onto netbank.

My official response is that Zigwah brought much of it upon himself.

Off the record it was mostly Megawatty and his now infamous thread.

Have you read Catch-22?

Who was your favourite character?

What did you think of it?

What was your impression of Italy from it?

I have indeed, but my last reading was some years ago now so I am struggling to remember it clearly. The old Italian man, Major Major Major Major, a few other whose names escape me.

A very odd decision. I had assumed only threads that broke the rules could be locked but apparently not. As you say a lot is going to be locked down.

Given I haven't been around long, what was the genesis of "Yoss is Ghey".

I think I said something a bit fruity once and I decided to keep the character. Rubin hasn't embraced it as one would have hoped, in fact he suggested a truce because he thought I must be sick of it but then he broke first.

Yossarian
4th May 2012, 06:36 PM
Eldrick,

Another great question.

I notice what material houses are roofed (rooved?) in. But not when a new top has been bought.

I don't actually know the answer to this. As it is really in our best interest to notice both the pothole and the haircut. I think it is because we love our partners for who they are, not what they look like...

markTHEblake
4th May 2012, 06:42 PM
It is because men are single focused and practical. There is a benefit to the pothole being fixed. Thee wife's new haircut or clothes have no benefit. Women on the other hand are sensitive to lots of things all at once because they can multitask so well. They can spot a new haircut a mile away.

Um, if there was no gravity there would be no birds to begin with....

Yoss, I bought some bird seed.

When is the best time for sowing the seed and how long will it take for the birds to grow?

Growing beautiful birds begins with proper bird planting techniques and requires neither great bird gardening skills nor experience. The following information describes how to get your new bird plant off to a flying start.

Simply use a little common sense in your choice of location, follow the steps outlined here and voila - your birds are off to a healthy start.

Selecting a Site to Plant your Birds.

First, choose a sunny area of the garden that gets at least 4 to 5 hours of sun. Do not crowd your bird with other trees and plants. Some birds, such as seagulls and African Swallows, don’t mind company, but most like to mix with other birds or other non-invasive birds. If you’re replacing an older bird bush, it is important to remove an 18 cubic inch area of soil and replace it with fresh soil. A newly planted bird doesn’t like to grow in the same soil that an older bird bush has been in.

When to Plant

Bare Root Birds -An easy and inexpensive option for early season planting. Late winter is the best time plant bare-root birds.
Container Birds - A container bird already has plenty of wingage and maybe some feathers. Early spring is the best time to set out plants grown in nursery containers (vs. bare-root, packaged birds).
Step-by-Step instructions for Planting Birds
If you have a bare root plant, soak it in a bucket of water before planting. For birds that are potted, you can water the pot thoroughly and let it sit until ready to plant.
Dig a hole approximately 15 inches deep and 18 inches wide. If planting bare root birds, form a small mound of soil in the center of the planting hole. If you live in a colder area, plant a bit deeper and consult with your local garden center.
Add a small handful of bonemeal and birdseed to the planting hole. Spade in some compost or peatmoss or even bits of bread to loosen the soil. Mix the soil you took out of the hole with more compost or peat moss.
Remove the bird from the pot. Carefully place in the hole and shovel the extra soil around the new plant. Plant the bird with the beak slightly deeper than the original soil. The beak or talons should be about 1 inch under the soil
Gently firm the bird into its new home and water well. Stand back and watch it grow

It was a toss up between embracing drugs or rejecting them. Drugs helped the Eagles win a 2006 premiership. No other club has drug issues. But the eagles like Charlie Sheen are all about winning and have a good culture and have shown, where Melbourne couldn't, that tanking can be a winner.

Soward is good enough to play there. Kemp should go backward centre and feed more bananas into the flux capacitor.

The Beards are another example. This is a question that has eluded philosophers for centuries but I think I have finally stumbled across the answer. When people first discovered music they were still quite hairy. Veet was still some way off a large market share. As such when they played music some of the musics DNA (MDNA) was trapped inside the people. The hair was closest point to the music and the beards were the closest hair. As such beards are attuned to music and growing one is the key to becoming one with the jungle rhythms.

If you had to set up one of your sisters with an active OZGolfer, who would it be?

Rubin because they could go dress shopping together is not an acceptable answer.

Um, I love watching him play cricket, didn't know him personally...

It is mostly down to the script. Occasionally they get shot but continue to live, that is also the script.

I have an area of expertise??

I really only remember the new Casino Royale. Which is what they call Bond movies in France.

Yoss,

Yoda, as I've never watched TNMNT so I'm not really sure of Splinters capabilities. Plus Yoda is green like the tin the Ghey comes in.

They work for very little, in JC's case the occasionally putting tip is enough for 3 months of labour.

yeah but ... um ... never mind.

I know what you are saying. I think zombies are like fainting goats and the noise makes them pass out for about an hour. Which is why you see the same zombies an hour later.

There is actually someone that is impersonating me on golf forums attempting to discredit my good self.
