Damn you and that hybrid on the 16th.... I thought my birdie on the 14th might have held the way we were all chopping it up.

Anyone got a DG SL S300 5 iron shaft laying around. I know a spaniard that needs one :-)

Thanks for the game - fairly rusty for me but great to be out on such a lovely day.

How to turn 3 into 4 short game clinic by me today, would of shot 5 or so over if I wasn't completely unco. A short pitch from 10 metres off the green on 18 for birdie putt and shirt and walk off with a 7.:(%%$^&&%# Absolutely spanked some drives today the Fubuki Alpha is the goods.

20kg to go boys. Well that would be in the ideal world I don't live it. double digits will do but that is still a long way away believe it or not.

I find it hard to believe how easy it was to stack on the weight in the first 5 years or so of marriage. The last 18 months or so I have been chipping away at it and this year has seen the most dramatic drop, however I had ballooned out from the 97kg I was when I met my wife (and I was 26 at the time).

Cycling is the way for me to do it - 4hrs on the bike at a reasonable tempo and you chew up 2000+cal -- actually up to 3000 cal has been my experience so far depending on how hard you push it and how big the hills are. That means a few days a week on the bike and you can still have a reasonable life (ie have a beer or two) as long as you don't get into the bad food.

If I do this Sydney to Surfers ride next year (and I am already thinking I will) I aim to be under 100kg - another year of cycling in the legs and I will kick some ass maybe even on a few hills but at least in the sprints on the flats.

Now any tips on how I can shrink my mega calves and thighs so I can lose the 10kg extra over normal legs?

Eag's
11th May 2012, 08:44 PM
If you get under 100kg, you will be lighter than me
I am 5 ft 8 and 101kg, you are 8 foot tall and catching me......man I suck :smt090

Not cycling, that makes the calves and thighs bigger.

Hard to beat him to the pie cart though!

And Eag's = try Lite and Easy. 4 weeks and 8 kg and it kick started me at the beginning of the year.

I was 125 kg when I got married. Lite and Easy saw me back down to around 100. Slowly gone out, particularly with the hip. Time to get back into losing the weight I think.
