Playing Secret Harbour with my cousin first thing Sunday morning. there's 2 slots left if anyone wants to join us.

I know most of you WAnkers have family and young kids etc - but if you feel like a hit, let me know and i'll organise it.

As seriously as contraception?

Sorry can't play. Have a wedding and reception to go to. Going to be fun...
It's vegetarian and no alcohol. Ever had mock meat? Mock lamb, mock fish, mock chicken and mock beef.

The kids are thrilled.

why do people do that to their best friends and family? you know it's not the best but you feel obliged to force your screwed up ideal of how the world should eat onto the ones you love the most. weird.

You would've loved it mate, one of the best days of my life to be honest........Ceremony at Christ the King on the top of the hill in Beaconsfield just out of Freo on a beautiful May Autumn day, photos at the Round House in Freo and Maritime Museum....followed by reception at The Duxton in the ball room. Just about everyone that came to the wedding stayed there overnight too which was awesome as we all got to catch up at a late breakfast in the morning. Then wifey & I jumped on a plane to the Maldives & Singapore for 2wks.....never been that relaxed since.

I was thinking of maybe doing the Winter Cup...in Kalgoorlie

With 12 guys, in a minibus (including fuel), and three chalets in the Discovery Holiday Park (similar to the last SW trip) it would cost approx just under $100 each.

There'd be green fees, food, alcohol etc on top of that. But it's worth a thought!

From what I recall it doesn't get a heap (comparable to Perth early autumn or late spring) but gets it more consistently through the year.
