I pulled my PX 6.0 flighted shafts this arvo, and noticed they had a brass plug in the bottom.
I assumed it was to stop the epoxy going up the shsft.
But when i pulled them out, there were 2 different lengths. Short one being 2.5 g and the longer being 3 and a whisker grams.
The PW didnt have one at all.
My new 5.5 non flighted didnt come with any. Are they balance weights? Were should i put them back in?
Pretty certain the heavier ones were in 4-6 iron.
I had already added 8 grams to get them to D5. What will happen?
Cheers

Yep, they are weights.......
You prob should take the irons and get them done properly, swing weighted.....

Or, just put new shafts in without any weights and see how they go?

It's just to 'fix' the weights in the shafts to balance out the swingweights.
Do you have a set of swingweight scales?
I so, put the shaft in without glue and see how they turn out. If its about right, glue them up.

Or pm me & I'll email you a SW exel spreadsheet that is pretty accurate if you can weigh your heads, shafts etc to the nearest gram.
