Hybrid or Wedge?

For a hacker like me, what do people think would be more useful in the bag and for my game.

Currently i have

Adams Speed 10 9.5* Driver
TM RBZ 3w 15*
Adams Super Hybrid 19*
Crappy Irons 3i - SW (soon to be upgraded with 4i-PW AP2s from Hocko)
Nike SV Tour 60* Lob
Some Bionik Putter

With the new irons coming im thinking two options.

Fill the 3i gap with another 23 or 24* Hybrid and then a 54* Sand wedge between the PW/LW or

Go with 47 52 56 60 Wedges and no 3i

What do people reckon will benefit a hopefully improving player more.

Either way ill be looking for 2 clubs, a Hybrid and 54* or 52* and 56* wedges (or maybe 4 if i can get away with it)

Personally I think you would be better off having the PW/54/60 and practice using those clubs with 1/2 and 3/4 swings than going the 4 wedge route. This then allows you to get the 3 Hybrid to fill the gap between your 19deg and the 4 iron.

I have recently done the same where I dropped my PW/52/56/60 combo for a PW/52/58 combo as I found that I rarely used the 56 for a full shot and felt I could gain more with the extra long iron/hybrid in the bag.

Mate, go with what you feel comfortable with....

In saying that the Pw, 47, 52, 56, 60 proposed set up is a little bit of overkill in many circumstances. Ditch the 47 and go with a hybrid. You may well benefit from the extra hybrid, to fill the gap in down low.

Or do it the ozgolf way, buy all of them, and sell what you don't like in the pro shop ;)

It all depends on what type of course you play , I use 4 wedges but hardly use my 56* , only on the odd time I go into a green side bunker and them I tend to use the 60*.
Around the green I tend to use my 52* alot just put a different swing on it or ball postion.

My 2 cents is go for a hybrid and practice using differnt swings on those few wedges you have in the bag.

As a fellow hacker, I have no idea why you'd want to put a 60* wedge in play.

Go the Hybrids (19/23) That'll fit into your 4i.

Your AP2 PW will be about 47*, so put a 52/56* or 54/58* setup.

Start simple, as you learn more, experiment more...

Seems like the quick consensus is to definitely go with the hybrid. Then i think i might just play around with the wedges and see what feels most comfortable.

In that case, whos got a 23* Hybrid?
