Thanks Bergsey, as usual had a great time. Pity Yoss and I couldn't take out the match. However, it proved the two 1st round winners had what it took.

Greens were true, course in good condition and about 4'10" for the round.

The greens were great today. Not that I played very well on them, but they were the fastest I have played for a few months. I overhit nearly everything, and it wasn't until the last 5 holes or so that I felt comfortable with the pace.

Played WAGC a week ago and was seriously impressed. Great layout and in superb condition. I'm hoping the PGN has a challenge round there again this year, would love to have another crack at hitting the 12th in one. Had the legs but not the accuracy (gave the group on the 13th tee a fair scare).

I too, felt a bit like Yoss. I thought I hit it pretty good, but didn't score. (Played SO much better than I did for my 35pts around Joondy on Saturday). Lost it all on/around the greens (AGAIN!). Finally got the driver working again though.

And funilly enough putting is the only part of my game i don't practice (go figure!)

Seriously if i can get my GIR stats up then that is the final key to getting down to around 14 which is where i want to get to. If i'm anywhere on the green i'm confident of getting down in 2 putts. Have to keep working on the iron play...
