Shaft change question

I start with a Titty 909 15* with a stock VooDoo in it.

I put a Matrix Ozik X-Con 6 in it and take an inch or so off the shaft.

What change will I notice.

I'm hoping for a bit higher and easier to control.

If you trim from the Butt end, it is only going to change the flex marginally. Swingweight will be noticeably lighter (about 6 SW increments to the inch). Shorter length will give you more control, trajectory and flight are likely to be very similar. Trim from the tip and you will stiffen the shaft noticeably, flight will be lower with lower spin.
