Green issues

We have a problem on our greens which is out of control. Patches of brown which go about 5-10mm deep covering the entire 18 holes. Some worse than others but all greens have been hit by this.
Is it some type of bug, or just a grass disease?

Go and ask the head greenkeeper at the course, or your captain. I am sure they would know. If they don't, you are ****ed. I could ask my son, who is a greenkeeper, but he would just say it is a disease, or have they just been sprayed for weeds.

It's been like this for at least 6 weeks, was getting better about two weeks ago, but has gone to shit again.

We've got a couple of greens at our course like that as well (Pine Rivers), greenkeeper tells me its diseased and they are working on trying to kill it and get the greens back. They seem to have a plan of attack which is good to see!
