Ok, so building on Rubin's 'Handicap Challenge' Idea, we've kinda ended up with something close to a 'most improved'.

This is how it's going to work:

2 divisions 0-15 and 16->

$25 entry which is due by the 31st of March. I will provide details for this.

There will be two prizes awarded - a major prize (75%) for the best improver overall on percentage, and a runner up prize for the biggest numerical drop (25%). I will track everyone's GOLFlink weekly, and combine a spreadsheet to monitor it all - yes, I will need your GOLFlink numbers.

End date will be December 31, 2012.

Percentage for the overall. Biggest overall shots will get the minor prize.

I wouldn't think it much at all. Unless they intentionally throw in crap cards to start with, but even then it won't be huge given how they're worked out.
And it means everyone else has extra rounds up their sleeves.

Would you expect a handicap to drift out a bit over winter having to play rounds in the wet? My first season of comp golf so not really sure what to expect over the next 4 months.

Hahahaha..... Why not.. with all uni about to get hectic, and the all the 'FUN" events for the rest of the year, I can't see me getting may more cards in... In saying that, summer is the time to drop your handicap, so no doubt boys will be coming out of the wood work soon.
