Any of you play in this years Holden Scramble?

Our game is coming up on the 23rd September. I am not in a team at this stage as the 2 guys I was going to play with went and qualified last Thursday @ Riversides Oaks. Might have to put together an OzGolf team.

I would be interested again this year - have a new job and need to make sure it fits in , but hey that's what sickies are for !! - and for the record I am off 24 - I think ? - haven't played since June though , that is not such a bad thing with my record !!!

OK So how many of you are in Sydney and are interested?

I am off 25 at the moment, so to really work the handicap right we need a low marker (5-10) and a good b grader (15-20).

How does that sound?

Sorry Grant - my 22 handicap wouldn't be much use to you - even off the ladies tees! See if you can find a high female handicapper (I think the cut-off is 30) who can bash the ball a mile - will really help the score :)

WE didn't put much thought into our handicap mix. Our team is a 12, 20 and 28....so I suppose that's not too bad.

Hmmm, I seem to recall chatting to A-Lo about this a month or so ago. For some reason, we weren't going to play it.
I think it was because my leave balance is running low. :smt017

The day at Nudgee was really good last year. And there wouldn't be many qualifying rounds for the Scramble left.

Grant, it is looking very difficult for me now. Ping Jnr has qualified for the Zone Athletics Championships and they are on Wednesday 21st.

Any Ozgolfers qualified for regionals in the Scramble? Playing my club game tomorrow.
My team is pretty well balanced with myself (the high marker who can get it right occasionally) 25, a B grader off 13 & an A grader of 7. This gives us a handicap of 7.5. Will have to see if this is enough. I doubt it but you have to be in it to win it.
