I just got a call at 1am, blocked CID, the guy asks
"is this the blake residence" - ok thats a good start for waking me up.
there seemed to be a lot of disturbance on the line , almost everything he said apart from the first couple of words of any sentence was unclear ( he rang my voip line, my torrents are downloading so that is probably why)
"have you got someone to comfort you after I give you some terrible news" and spoke in the tone that would be expected for that topic.
i had to ask him to say that 5x, I wasnt particularly convinced he was genuine. On the TV its always the coppers who give bad news.
"My name is Dr [inaudible]"
and then there was all this horrible distorted squelchy sounds, perhaps someone screaming, and the call ends.
Is this a common practice for weirdos, or have I somehow attracted a new kind?
