Played 18 this morning & as usual used my motocaddy battery powered buggy. Back at home, connected the battery to the charger in my office. Whilst doing a bit of work at the desk, I noticed a burning smell. Long story short, the battery charger had started to overheat and melted in a couple of spots. I turned it off immediately but if I hadn't have been in the office who knows what might've happened.
Anyone had any experiences with battery chargers having a literal melt down?

Yeah Im pretty sure Marrickville Pro Shop burnt down last year due to a faulty battery charger or battery.

Sh!t a brick. You were lucky! That's one reason why I keep all my chargers out in the shed.

Here I was thinking this was going to be a thread by Solarman about what he found in his golf bag after his recent OS trip.
Disappointed for both your sake and mine TTR.
