Hi Guys,
Cant remember if it was here or one of the other sites that you could let a Mod know and they would post up all the details of the seller who took money and never sent things, people could use this as a guide to see if the person they were going to send the $$$ to had any issues against there name. Just a thought to protect members and there hard earned dollars.

Maybe put this in the proshop up the top.

I don't think this will be happening. Common sense seems to work best in the Pro Shop.

There's nothing stopping someone creating another account and doing it all over again.

I did like the idea that photos with a date were required at the time of posting. The sticky that MegaMod posted a while back...

It wasn't a requirement, but it just helps things along.

I'm not 100% that the latest case is a blatant case of fraudulent activity or whether it is just a bloke that's sold something and never actually got around to posting the goods. I guess we will find out if the money never makes it back into the respective accounts.

Pics would have at least shown that there were goods available...

Oh, I thought it was about dodgy website sellers. I agree with Tom.

It does open one big can of worms i guess, and nothing to police it.
I guess if they are not that well known that you shouldnt by from them.

There would be a few honest new people though.

What user details would those be? The fake email address and the IP address?
We don’t have the name or the phone number.

How does a moderator determine that Person A is dodgy? Person B telling them that they didn’t complete their side of the transaction? Maybe Person B is the dodgy one.

It doesn’t work. Even buying/selling on ebay is a risk.

Not if you always pay with paypal and do your research and never buy from Asia, unless you are buying whale.

If you are unsure about a new seller, ask them to send the goods to you, and that you will pay them once received. If they refuse, they are probably dodgy. And make sure you do it in the thread and not via PM.

Just checking through their previous pro-shop threads should give you a decent idea about their morals.

Most people that are dodgy tend to get a lot of bad publicity in the appropriate pro-shop thread.

I would assume not, otherwise dave_1 would surely have used it.

Agreed, the dodgy ones are already known, and without being prejudiced, it's just the new comers that need to earn the respect in the Pro shop not us Ho's

if the price is too good to be true, it usually is.

Unless the seller is Perci
