went and saw John Daly at Melville Glades Golf Club today. Was quiet good, he was very quiet and didn't interact with the crowd at all but he can sure knock it out there. Highlight was certainly the 8th tee shot where he teed up on an empty Coke can and smoked it 280+ down the middle of the fwy and the coke can did not move, not even shook! that was awesome to see.

Nice pics simmsy - especially the one at the top (or bottom, I'm not sure) of his backswing.

Didn't realize long John was a tm man.

Edit: just looking again, you can almost draw a T shape with his shoulders and the shaft with the amount of rotation he gets.

That shot looks like it was taken on the 11th which is only about 280 uphill.
Was it this hole? and where did he put it OMS?

Daly plays whatever clubs. I don't think he is TM sponsored although it would explain his shithouse game.

He was using a TM Burner driver 9.5', Cleveland Irons/Wedges and Nike putter (looked like a Scotty Newport).....oh and Srixon Z Star
ball.

He had a durry at least every hole.....the highlight was the coke can drive.

Hocko it was the 11th. There was a good breeze outhere today, he hit that one about 270. On 3rd he hit it 303(gps) on 18th 315(gps) with good tail winds. His driver was good all day.

He was playing the SF, cleveland cg irons (nuffie just messed his shorts), 588'sand nike method.

I talked to Tony, the head pro at Burswood. He confirmed the Tiger sighting. He said he was giving a lesson when Woods appeared with an entourage of 6. He said the he signed a couple autographs for the others on the range and then went about his business.

He had no idea the Woods was going to show up.
