Stress ball. Get a few and squeeze the shit of it. After a while progress to the the grip clips (oversize springs that u grip and squeeze together). Easiest, cheapest and quickest.

Or get a dumbell and do some wrist curls and reverse wrist curls. 30 rep range to start, then work your way down to 15. Do them every other day. Once down to 15 reps, no more than 2x per week. The problem is you need to re-coup the muscle wastage. The bone is already as strong (if not stronger) than it was before.

As rubin said, stress ball and grip clips are cheap and will do the job. Pretty much doing the same thing and wrist curls and reverse wrist curls (building the wrist flexors and forearm flexors). However using a dumbell involves bending your wrist, which is a movement you perform in the swing. Grip clips don't, although they will strengthen the muscle all the same.

I would only attempt punch shots with 7 or 8 iron (to test your wrist strength) before moving onto a full swing.

Source: Me. Having broken my wrist before and re-habbed it myself. I was back doing powerlifting in 3 weeks.

I've had mine off for nearly a month now and I'm at least a month from playing golf.

My cast was on for 9 weeks and I also had surgery though. I have about 30% range of motion so far, and have been seeing an OT twice a week

I used a knife to chop carrots last night. My greatest achievement with the right hand since the cast came off.

(yes, open to jokes)
