So are u saying Josh could possibly take me as he is more aggressive ;)?

I might just take down all of telstra once my dealings with them are done and dusted...

Regrettably, I will be up north on the 6th and be missing a good day.

But least The Vines will be in prime condition for this.

It still amazes me that Veeman is nearly out to a 10 hcp. As the weather starts to improve, I dont think that will stay that way for very long.

As long as we don't have to hear about the changes he made to this swing !!!

Mining roster swing that is 'Fit... definately no more golf swing changes .

The nuff-swing at the moment is the 'old rock' swing of aged 3 years that always has and continues to get the job done when there is confidence8-). As long as the ball is coming out well it travels far enough and is accurate enough. No swing change will ever make a difference (to me) unless I put on about 8 kgs more muscle.

Its taken a few years to work this out, but someday u just wake up and realise that hey, stick with the 'old rock' coz all the other stuff you want to change (for whatever reason) doesn't make a consistent difference to us at our golfing levels anyway.

Veeman will pass on $$$ (about 60 from memory) to TourFit for reconstructing my 2i hybrid, as it was money he owed me. It has been arranged (sounds like we are an organised 'ozgolf' sindicate). Any change for the transaction to also go to TourFit for a 'classified operation'.

Veeman for the win, as he has a bit of local track knowledge. The greens are very big out there, so Yoss' putting will definately be tested. Although I've got sources to suggest it has improved somewhat.

Enjoy the match, wish I was there.

Thanks to Daz for the game, it was a pity he was a bit injured (I know how THAT feels). And to Rubin & TommyG as well.

I concur with Rubin that 14 would be a fair handicap for TommyG for the Champs (he's shot 37 off 17 and today 36 off 16 last two games played.)

As for me...I played a solid 20 pt back 9 to be able to close it out for once. The story...

I went 3 up after 3 with a birdie on 1, Daz losing TWO balls off the 2nd tee and then I made a solid Par on 5. But Daz being Daz, he came back on 4 with an awesome up & down and then the shot of the day set up his birdie on 5 (where he got a shot anyway) to bring it back to me 1 up. We halved 6 with bogeys and then 7 with Pars and then I stupidly wiped 8 to be ALL SQUARE. We halved 9 with par, after Daz bounced his ball through the trees on the right and then bounced it off the cart path to end up on the front fringe. I then raced out to 4 up with 4 solid pars on 10,11,12,13. Daz won 14 with a great approach (and some crap from me, which didn't matter in the end). I had a 6-7ft putt to win it 4&3 on the 15th but missed. Daz then made par on 16 with a nice up & down from the back edge after I had put it in possibly the worst position on the hole (back left pot). I managed my best drive of the day on 17 to set up a GW into the green, which came up a little short on the front fringe, but Daz was unable to get up & down from the bunker for Par (although he nearly holed it for a 3!). I lagged it up enough for Daz to concede. PHEW!

I also managed a clean sweep of the $1 bits (NTP's). After none of us hit the green on 4 (playing 198m into the wind to back pin!), I claimed the carry over loot on 7. I also got closest on 13. Believe it or not, none of us hit the green on 16 (TommyG and Rubin hit the water though!) so we carried it over to nearest in 3 on 18th. I hit it into the front right pot for 2 and then splashed out to 6-7ft to clean sweep the loot. YAY ME! Inexplicably, I only grabbed $3 each for the prize...so I'll just grab the other buck at Champs :)

Thanks for a good day gents, and especially Vic for the invite.

I reckon with dazzas short game, if he can get his leg right and hit some fairways he'll give a real shake next week.... his short game was awesome. And rubins front 9 was that of a single digit man.... he went round in 40. Playing off 22 hes a danger man, as long as he doesnt break too many windows. And fit hit some cracking shots today... ive heard him talk golf before..... a lot....but never seen hiim play... he hit some crackers when it was really needed.

Tommy shot 37 points of a 17 last week, and 37 points of a 16 this week. His best played to is a 15, and allowing for the 'excellence factor' or whatever it's called, I worked it out to a 14. Actually just over - 14.2 I think it was, but rounded down.

It might give us lower markers some incentive to harden up!

AND there is also Rubin "the 'smokey' Rhino" that could feature in the scoring... if yesterday's front nine form can be translated into a round (or two).

Can he hit the fairways again and again, and get some of these wedges to land on the greens? Maybe at Dunsborough Lakes butThe Cut is going to test us all.

Aghh s#!t, was just heading back 2 my donga from the mess and nearly stepped on a giant stewart little (if that makes any sense). Now I actually wish there was a snake waiting outside my door... (no homo).

Giant to you would be what, about 3 inches?

Snake season?

Pay it!

And 4 topped drivers.
