Get your mind out of the gutter...

Have you ever had this happen to you?

I'd used this ball for a few rounds before it happened. Smacked what I thought was a good drive only to have it fall out of the sky well short of where it should have gone. On closer inspection, found that it had split.

It's not the first time it's happened to me, either. I split a Penta last year. I guess they can't make a ball that can handle my powa!

That's what you get for using poor quality balls.

tbh I haven't seen that for years.

Has never happened to me.

I once gave a brand new titleist a egg shape when i was younger. Inspected the ball on second hole and i had caved a part of the ball and pushed it to another spot... but those were the days of balatas

Nope; used to smiley some Balata's from time to time but, never cracked a ball..

Clearly you hit too hard, lay off the roids:mrgreen:

Yep done that a few times.
The old TM TP reds were the best for splitting.

No but I did get the NAGA's drive on the 9th fairway.

The previous model ProV1's used to do that a bit, I probably have 4-5 customers show me split balls. Mind you, that is out of about 2000 sold.

I split a Titleist many years ago like that. Sent it back to them and they sent me a sleeve in return for free.

Any golf ball will crack when you are playing in the snow.
