Why not, can't hurt to give it a go. It should work a treat with the Del Mar head.

You had better get someone with a camera to go round to Perci's place mate. He don't do pics.

Noooooooooooooooooooo not the Limited edition Del Mar surely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW I reckon balance on the Del Mar will be less than easy...its a heel shaft design going over to a C/shaft...probably need some professional adjustment.

Kari...or SC Custom Shop?

Kari would do it, the Custom Shop, NO.

Got the "DEL" back from the 2nd yead Apprentice I had Weld it for me and it looks pretty good, and after a few tweaks to the loft it seems to roll on the Boom ok as well, will keep you posted once I hit the Course with it!

So this bad girl is now in my possession as of today. One thing that seems a little weird, is it feels like you are going to hit the ball with the shaft and shank it off the hosel. But the shaft is a little higher, so that should be ok.

Perci, how did you get the finish to match the original. Do you know what loft and lie you set it to? Has anyone else used this putter and have any thoughts? There is an orange iomic on it with what I imagine is a shitload of tape underneath it. Any ideas on who did this, and exactly what is under it ( to save me blowing it off and having a look ).

I'll give this a bump. Had a putt out at the course at lunch time and it rolls really good.

Has anyone else used this putter and have any thoughts?I couldn't bring myself to try it between picking it up and posting it. However it didn't look as awkward at address as I thought it might have.

PM Perci as it was he who put the orange Iomic on it.
I saw it at his place when it was first done.
I also thought that it looked like you were hitting the ball with the shaft!

I had this putter for a while.... I too couldn't get over the offset shaft hanging over the sweet spot...and it was too upright for me. It was very good for short putts though

I used this for a quick nine after work today. It went surprisingly well. Very good on short putts and I sank 3 birdies from about 15 to 20 feet. I hope the honeymoon lasts. It seems quite heavy in the head, so will suit the slow greens in NQ.

Quick update - 27 putts in the monthly medal. This will be in the bag for a few more games yet. Rolls the ball nicely and good on the short putts.
