so for the past 6 months I have become the worst putter in Australia. laugh as you may but this is true. I had a 6 putt two weeks ago and I am playing off 5.. not fun.

I have done some drills with my local pro but get bored really quickly.. Is there anything out there that you are doing I may be able to have a crack at ??

If so would love to hear about it!

Cheers.

what i do occasionally when mucking around on the carpet
is use 3 different value coins at different length

10c at about 2 feet
20c 3 feet
50c longer again
goal is to get x amount of cash by rolling it over the coins
miss one and you have to start again

*disclaimer*
i am a rubbish putter and golfer

p.s. a 6 putt is pretty impressive

Mint, drills wont save you unless you understand why keep having brain fades and 6 putting. You need to get your head sorted out first before worrying about any technical issues.

I think you are right Jack.. I have no confidence when putting 9 feet and under... from 20 feet I am fine but its the in close ones I struggle with. Good Advice.

OK the 6 putt!!!

Well it was the 15th which is a 508 meter par 5 playing into a 40kmh wind - Two tier green pin on the top level which for this hole is a pretty easy pin..
Hit green in reg on the bottom tier and left 25 ft putt up hill into the wind.. hit a good putt lipped out ball went to the left leaving me a 5 foot putt fairly straight... struck the putt lipped out again down the hill with the wind and left me a 35 foot putt.. hit the putt back up the hill but the wind had better ideas and blew it straight back down to my feet... another 35 foot putt and getting very angry I smashed it back up the hill running over the hole and then had a 4 footer back to the cup.. finally holed it and walked away with a 9. mind you I was 2 over before that hole and after my "episode" walked off the course with gross 91. I hate this game. :)
