Hi all

Well another game @ Macarthur Grange. This time Friday 12th August. 8.30ish tee off I will go and book this morning as Andrew And I are playing so far.

They have upgraded the friday comp recently to weekly and more prizes such as NTP's & Long Drives.

Change of plans; the booking for the second group is gone, but if we need it I can get it back.

If anyone is going to join us let me know, I would say the 2 free spots (1 if virgal can play) will stay that way, so late notice would not be a problem.

Congrats to Andrew winning the day overall. I will find out the prize today, but I think it is a $50 voucher.

Thanks Grant & Dan.

The sad part about it was that I had five 3 putts, with 38 putts overall.

Oh, what could have been.

That putting lesson with Jackson may need to be sooner than I thought.

Well wonders will never cease, Grunt won a longest drive on the 18th Hole in this event. Guess it is true about hit the fairway and let it happen from there. It was only 210m at best I reckon.

At least a week overdue but here is my impresions of the day.

Andrew was better than solid all day. I didn't realise how many putts that he had because he was scoring so well. Grant used a bit of his local knowledge but the putt on 15 for birdie was brilliantly done 25ft and smacked the back of the cup.

I think that I am starting to come to terms with M.G. but for someone who's drive is not consistent this course will punish you. First run with the Bridgestone 5w and what a club. Helped me find the green on the par 5's in 2. Pity I can't putt or would have had eagle.

Great run on the back 9 of 4 consecutive pars which really helped my score but 4 wipes over the round hurt anyhope of a good score.

Will go back to try and tame this course.

Thanks Grant and Andrew for a great day.
