View Full Version : The OZgolf Shop is Open

AndyP
18th September 2011, 09:37 PM
The OZgolf shop is now open for business.

The merchandise we have are the shirts (http://www.ozgolf.net/showthread.php/25413-OZgolf-Shirts-2011-12) for $30 (I need to update the photo), stubby coolers for $7 and stickers for $1 each. See the shop if you want to see what they look like.

Initial orders will need to be completed by Thursday September 29. I'm sorry about the short timeframe for ordering, but that's when I need to place a bulk order if we are to get the shirts in time for the OZgolf Champs. There is a good chance that there will be orders for the shirts at a later date too.

I have only provided two postage options (500g and 3kg postpak) to keep things easier for me logistically for now, but I'm open to better ideas. Of course, things can be picked up at the Champs or I encourage you to organise a representative in your area for me to deliver a bunch of shirts to, to save on postage.

Have a look through and start adding things to your shopping cart.

Both of these items should be available at the Champs by paying cash, but not the shirts. They must be ordered and paid for by the end of next week, Sept 29.

There are two payment options available; Paypal and direct deposit.

I'm happy for people to pay for the items without postage initially, and working out how they will get things afterwards and paying for postage later.

The original shirts must've been small then?? As I just measured my large in the original Ozgolf shirt and it's 55cm just under the arms, surely it hasn't stretched that much. My chest is 100cm, but surely I wouldn't fit the small?

Eag's
28th September 2011, 07:10 PM
I just measured my chest at 105cm so looks like I may need the M which would be a first for me

AndyP

Are you sure, Eag's?

I can try and dig up the old original size chart if it helps?

AndyP
28th September 2011, 08:00 PM
There does appear to be a one size difference to the original shirts that we had (not the NK batch last year).

http://www.beseenclothing.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=2_11_111&product_id=54
Old M = New S - 52cm half chest
Old L = New M - 55cm
Old XL = New L - 58cm
Old 2XL = New XL - 62cm
etc

To confirm, I just laid the new shirt sample (L) over the top of old worn shirt (XL) that I have. They were very close in size.

FWIW I'll probably get an M sized shirt for myself to be safe, and to leave some room, although I'm starting to think that S might be better for me. And if that's the case, what the hell are the stick people meant to wear?

I grabbed a bunch of 500g prepaid bags today after batching the orders a couple of nights ago. I should get them in the mail this evening or tomorrow.

Great. :)

Excellent!!

A pity they did not get here today as I am off on a golfing weekend to Lakes Entrance with my social group (32 of us) and I would have loved to be able to swan around in an OzGolf shirt. (The stubby holder would have come in handy as well  )

Bummer, Ian. I wanted to get all my ducks in a row before sending them out, hence the slight delay.

Despite being in my pyjamas, I just put them in the post box. Expect a package in the next couple of working days.

There are 5 shirts left (2 medium and 3 large) and you can still order other sizes from the shop and I'll send them out in the next batch. Others can chime in to confirm, but I didn't have any problem with the shirt in the hit. It is lightweight and breathable.

You better get in quick to get one of the 70 odd stubby holders left though. ;) We are very happy with how they turned out they look great.

There are plenty of stickers available too.

My parcel arrived this morning and I am stoked with the shirt. It looks terrific together with the stubby holder, and a couple of stickers have one on my golf cart already. Many thanks.

I found the shirt wore very well. Not hot as you would normally expect with dark colours in Qld. The material breathes well and the cut is very comfortable. I ordered the XXL though to be sure.

Keep talking it up boys and I'll try to get another batch done up for this mob in a few months. That said, there are still a few shirts left.

Andy,
Can you please email me an address to send my shirt back for exchange as the one sent to me has a hole in it.

Another shirt sold. Two larges and two mediums left in this batch.I'll take one. I'm usually XXXL but a medium will do.

Are they free?

I ordered the shirt and went to checkout but there's no mention of postage costs.

I ordered the shirt and went to checkout but there's no mention of postage costs. You need to buy the postage as a separate item, mike. Unless you are buying lots of stuff, the 500g option will cover an order of a couple of shirts, or a shirt and stubby holders.

If you usually take XXXL, I'd recommend that you buy two mediums and sew them together.

So if we get rid of them soon, we'll be able to order the purple shirts.

Right ???
