As you should know, we have been working on getting some merchandise available for the site and selling it via a shop. This will help raise a few bucks towards the running of the forum and it's great to have some merch to show ourselves off as OZgolfers.

The shop isn't open yet, but I thought I would give you a look at the shirt sans new logo.

The cost of the shirt will be $30 and will be available in many sizes for men and women.
OZgolf won't be holding much in stock, so it will be done on a group buy basis through our supplier.

We want to have the shirts available for the Champs, so the window for ordering will only be a couple of weeks in the first instance. We can always do more batches later on though.

We'll sort out the logistics later, but it will be easier and cheaper if we have representatives in each area, such that many shirts can be posted to an area in one go, although I can post them individually.

Have a think about whether you want one or more, start getting yourselves organised and be ready to order a shirt or other merch when the time arrives.

Thanks to AUSTITCH (http://www.austitchembroidery.com.au/) and Marto65 for your help with this.

Shirt looks nice, depend on what the logo looks like though.

Style, colour or both?

Bit of both with the logo, but I like the shirt so unless it's really hideous I'd be willing to give it a go.

Courty did the logo just, so you know it will be tasteful ;)

Goughy is the only one who doesn't like the new logo; he is resistant to change.

What shade of orange did he pick? It's not a consistent shade, but represented as an RGB 8-bit hex value it is #FF8000.

Can't read the logo in that photo - does it say Ford or Holden?

It does look a little like a pit shirt from the V8's.

Can I ask why black was chosen as a colour? most of you guys are up in QLD and I would have thought a lighter colour that reflects the sun rather than one that concentrates it would have been chosen. I know we are all different but I would have much preferred a lighter one.

I was waiting for your comment. Maybe next year.

Grunt, it was chosen because it looks good and is neutral enough to not offend too many. NQlders are ordering it, so they can't be too worried about the sun factor.

Didn't want to disappoint.

That said, I'm still in favour of the "benevolent dictator with questionable fashion sense" model for shirt selection.

Because you never see any black burqua's in the middle east.
