Hi everyone,

Wynnum Golf Club have confirmed Sunday the 29th January 2012 as the date for the 2012 Wynnum Cup.

The following are the details to make the day happen.



· OZgolf has 32 spots from 7.24 am until 8.13 am.
· Given we have EOI's from 38 people, obviously the first 32 who pay up will get spots as part of the OZgolf group.
· When you do pay up, please also email me your Golflink numbers along with you actual real name and OZgolf ID.
· Any spots not taken by Sunday the 15th January will be taken back by Wynnum Golf Club for release to their members and other Visitors.
· The draw for OZgolfer’s will be done during the week of the 15th January and posted on the Forum. It won’t be a handicap draw, I’ll just mix it up. (Surprise surprise surprise)
· Motorised Carts will need to be booked by those requiring them directly from the Wynnum Golf Club Pro Shop.
· Fee for playing will be $20.

*I don't hide my golf link number its listed in the contacts section and in my signature. I have to look up alot more hcps for nudgee or the champs.

Good commentary BV, obviously others who have issues for whatever reason on this Forum can step up when others stop organising events.

If Forum members don't feel happy with how its organised then they have a couple of choices, give up their spot if they have nominated and paid for (Ill happily refund their money), stand up now to organise future Wynnum Cups or don't participate.

Personal attacks have, are and will always happen and this Forum is no different.

The details I put out for those that were interested in playing was done ages ago.

Without going into war and peace, (and as supported by BV's comments again) I've been left high and dry when organising other events on this Forum, so as in this case and historically the minority stuff it for the majority.

The invitation is there for anyone to now say yes I will take on future organisation of the Wynnum Cup, I am more then happy for those that have stated their issues around the current organisation of the event or their personal agendas/attacks of me to do it the way they have stated they would like it or do it better then I have.

If I actually didn't enjoy your company (well mostly) in person and only read this crap I would never turn up at an Ozgolf day on the basis that everyone seems like an angry bunch of knobs who can barely tolerate each other.

Having been club captain at my club for the past 4 years I know what NK has had to put up with. He has done a fantastic job with the organisation of this event and all of his instructions have been clear & concise. Why anyone would question his methods are beyond me!

As for future organisation of Wynnum Cups, I’ll leave that to someone else. (Someone in the Brisbane area than someone who is about 1800 km's away)

Anyway back on track, just waiting for Wynnum to confirm how much comp/green they are going to charge us, last year it was $15 and the extra fiver was used for OZgolf's own internal comp.

This year they are saying somewhere between $15 to $20 and are yet to confirm. If any coin left over it will be used for some golf balls etc.
