318yd, isn't that shorter than most of their par 3's? I'd still take it, if it was in a comp ;)

About 280 metres Goughy (having just played in the UK I got used to doing conversions on the fly).

My course has a par 4 about that distance to a raised green though. I have only got on top of the hill for it to roll back down!

With an open front like that must be a great scoring hole!

Yep your right! Explains a lot!

Metres to yards is easy (+10%) but doing it the other way is harder! I was out a few times, combine that with borrowed clubs that I didn't know how far I hit and lack of yardage markers around the courses meant a lot of guessing!
