Due to recent events that have seen Yoss, Nuffie and Rubin leave their home clubs and Nut join his first, the WA Illuminati Committee has got together and organised the first ever Philadelphia Gay Network OzGolf Perth Golf Network Championship.

Yoss, due to his lack of official handicap, has withdrawn from the WA Match Play, but will concentrate his efforts on winning this prestigious event.

A random draw has been conducted and the first round matches, to be played at Marri Park are:

Golfnut - Handicap 12
vs.
NUFFIE - Handicap 7

Yossarian - Nutcap 17
vs.
Rubin 1909 - Handicap 37

The finals must be played by December 31 and will occur at the exclusive Chequers Country Club.

Adlo has been nice enough to donate a table with sides on it so that no donated prizes go missing come presentation time.

Good luck to all involved.

Dec 31st...

PLEASE DON"T RUSH 'NUT.

He took 3 years to spend the $200 nomination fee and finally make up his mind. That is just too little time!

And WOW...how did Rubes get his handicap down SO QUICK. Putter off the tee? No, wait...

The same way I got my ball flight down...... I don't take out large aircraft anymore with a driver - only small aircraft.

BTW JC, it's 36. :D

I won't qualify for this anymore either, as by the end of next week, my HC should be current again. The application is in.

Mate, last time I Played there, I saw a handful of mercs and bmw's each, all relatively current, plus the usual grey nomad trucks (land cruisers and patrols). It's not that bad.

The track itself is up for a bit of development over the next year, so will be interesting to see what happens with that.

I feel safer leaving my truck & gear playing at Rocko than K-Town.

I'm also prob going to be ineligible for this. In a matter of weeks I'm hoping to join the vines on a FIFO membership. It is why I've put off joining the PGN as I wasnt aware of the latest deal going for FIFO.
