Watching now. Currently on 20 under!
1 of 2 things are happening:
1) either they are playing a ridiculously easy course, or
2) the guys playing are now way too good for the one Asia tour, and should have been playing in the PGA this weekend.

Seriously if you want to whinge about a lack of spoiler on golf torny thread on a golf forum....

Is that not one of the rules of etiquette on a golf forum? Its just a courtesy for others who may have yet to watch a final round taped which is common these days Yoss.

+1.

Do we seriously need an embargo to allow for those who choose not to watch live one way or another?

It wasn't telecast live, that is the point! The Telecast did not start till 11.15pm last night.

OneHD didn't show it live ? What's the ****ing point of it then, were they showing buck jumping, frisbee throwing or what ?

Motor racing according to the TV guide, Nascar, Drags and Bikes.

Live sport is a fanciful thing for free to air isn't it. I suppose you get what you pay, and always will sadly ;)

They only have one channel (unlike Fox Sports which can show multiple events simultaneously) and who would have thought that an event on maybe the 8th best golf tour wouldn't be a priority?

As opposed to a Nascar replay ? Fair argument.

I'd guess that more people watch NASCAR? There are a lot of ferals out there. Look at how many people watch Top Gear.

Fair enough, I just think the whole Digital TV/HD TV thing has been a bit of a wank. I thought it'd be the justification to do away with Fox, but they really have very little that I could be bothered watching.

Agreed. It's been a huge wank. All of those HD channels are quite compelling.

I don't care. I don't record sport. Either watch it live or watch highlights on Fox Sports News.

It is quite simple, don't put the result in the thread title. Talk about it as much as you like in the thread, but use a thread title like "Thailand Open".

So did he win on the replay as well?

Exactly my point. It's not hard

FWIW, this is the title for the thread that admin made over at iseek; "Stolz wins Thailand Open".

Anyway, back to the golf, great win by Andre and also a fantastic T3 for Brent McCullough, go champ.

I was hitting balls next to Stolz about two years ago at a range on the central coast. I only knew it was him after seeing the name on the bag and having the guy who owns the range, who is a good mate of his, confirm it. He must have been going through a slump or trying stuff out because the lasting image I have from that day is him not being able to land it close to the flag with a 7 iron. By close, I mean it would struggle to get on the green. He's obviously sorted the problem out!

It could well of been his range, didn't he buy one up there?

He has some pretty bad wrist problems apparently so it may of been while he had that going on.

Not sure SH. Was the Bateau Bay range.
