He is currently using a ping g10, with a pro-launch red stiff shaft. Went to the range, and found out his swing speed is over 120mph, and was told to use an x-flex shaft as there is too much torque with a stiff shaft. Is this the case? what shaft to ppl recommend?

How long is his g10?

Graf blue x flex was what ubers was using last time I saw him. He's 120+mph on average and reckons the blue is one of the only shafts he can rely on.

So how was the speed measured.

How does he hit the g10 how? High, low, hook, draw, cut or block. Or is there no pattern?

Was the 120 flat out?

What does he want the g10 to do? Is it stock?

I have 2 X-Flexes.:

1 X Misubishi Javelyn - Lower more piercing trajectory.
1 X TM Rombax - Mid launch.

You can have them for $45 each or $80 for the 2. Postage about $12 extra

I have quite a few X flex Accra and Dymatch shafts left.

Depending on weight though.

Mate I'm the 125 - 130 range and I'm using the v2 proforce in x flex and it goes fine. That's at 2.0 torque. I would also recommend the tour version, it's a little lower 1.6 to 1.8

You do. GHEY...

Depending on the machine though Rubin...on that indoor one even I was measuring about 115!!!

He had it tested at Victoria Park driving range. I did it there also and I was averaging 96mph.

I find it hard to believe you didn't look at your swing speed if numbers were available. Isn't that your number one concern?

It's not my number one concern, but the outdoor one when I was using it had ball speed and some other info on there, I didn't know how to change the screen. The indoor system was better anyway.
